New addition to the WMS Fleet

Waste Management Solutions have taken delivery of  their new 18 tonne curtain side vehicle, this additional vehicle will increase the commercial fleet to three vehicles and will enable WMS to collect more off their customers material direct.

Niall Smith, WMS Operations Director commented “We use carefully selected companies as partners for collections but we are always looking at ways to improve our customer service and our own fleet of collection vehicles will give us more flexibility and a quicker response time."
 
WMS awarded MFI contract

Waste Management Solutions have been awarded the total waste management contract for MFI.

The new 800,000 sq ft distribution centre near Doncaster opened in December 2007 employing over 500 staff.

WMS have supplied two vertical balers a waste compactor and a roller crush for MDF and pallet recycling; in addition WMS are also managing the entire on site recycling and waste removal operation.
 
WMS awarded Holland & Barrett contract

Waste Management Solutions are to supply Holland & Barrett (the largest supplier of health supplements in the UK) with a new WMS 6000 horizontal baler for the baling of their cardboard on a three year rental contract.

WMS already supply Holland & Barrett with a vertical baling press at their distribution centre in Burton. As part of the contract WMS will also supply full maintenance and operator training.
 
New Staff

Due to continued growth in 2007 WMS have recruited Jennifer Lowe to work in the collections and customer services department.
